Trib Total Media Youth Team of the Month: The Potter's Tour

The Potter's Tour baseball team, like most "traveling" youth baseball teams, is made up of skilled young ballplayers who tour around and play baseball. But unlike many other travel teams, the Potter's Tour isn't focused on winning tournaments. Their goal is to get communities back into "old-time baseball": playing the game with a focus on fun.

When the Pirates made Daniel Moskos the fourth overall pick in the 2007 MLB Draft, many fans expected him to set the baseball world on fire. Moskos may not have combusted as soon as some would have liked, but he is providing a spark to the Altoona Curve as one of the best closers in the entire minor leagues.
